Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) research highlights resources and skills gaps along with budgetary restraints as the main inhibitors to full Cloud migration.
This is very insightful, and it strikes me that the key to a significant shift to full Cloud adoption vests in the ability to harness the core resources/skills that are being expressed as a current 'gap', with 41% of survey respondents stating that they do not have the required in-house resource/skills capability, whilst striving to mitigate budgetary restraints; so no surprise to me then that our 'powered by provide consulting' approach is enjoying an up-curve, both directly and through our Service Provider Partnerships. This is well worth a read, to compare where you are on your transformation journey.
